Can Air Curtains act as Heat Engines?

By: Eddie Baki, 14.8.2012, 17:17

Is it practical to have an air curtain function at least partially as heat engine.

Many air curtains are mounted at entrances of buildings or special areas at an interface between cold and warm air.

Could not part of energy required to propel the air curtain come in form of a heat engine, which gains its energy from the difference between warm and cold air?
